Rear Power Window RH does not Operate with Rear Power Window Switch RH [12/2013 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR RH DOOR) - BATTERY) 
    1. Disconnect the J5 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for RH door) connector.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J5-2 (B) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result:  2

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    Result:  1

    OK

  2. INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR RH DOOR) 
    1. Remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for RH door).

      Refer to REMOVAL [12/2013 - ]

    2. Inspect the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for RH door).

      Refer to INSPECTION [12/2013 - ]

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result:  2

    NG 

    REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR RH DOOR). Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2013 - ] 

    Result:  1

    OK

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR RH DOOR) - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (FOR REAR RH DOOR)) 
    1. Disconnect the J1 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear RH door) connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J5-7 (U) - J1-2 (U) Always Below 1 Ω
      J5-7 (U) or J1-2 (U) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J5-1 (D) - J1-1 (D) Always Below 1 Ω
      J5-1 (D) or J1-1 (D) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result:  2

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    Result:  1

    OK

  4. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the power window regulator master switch assembly.

      Refer to REMOVAL [12/2013 - ]

    2. Inspect the power window regulator master switch assembly.

      Refer to INSPECTION [12/2013 - ]

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result:  2

    NG 

    REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2013 - ] 

    Result:  1

    OK

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY - REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR RH DOOR) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I6-10 (RRU) - J5-3 (SU) Always Below 1 Ω
      I6-10 (RRU) or J5-3 (SU) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      I6-16 (RRD) - J5-4 (SD) Always Below 1 Ω
      I6-16 (RRD) or J5-4 (SD) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result:  1

    OK 

    REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (FOR REAR RH DOOR). Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2013 - ] 

    Result:  2

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
