Terminals Of 4WD Ecu Assembly [12/2013 - ]

  1. CHECK 4WD ECU ASSEMBLY

    1. Measure the voltage and resistance of the connector.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      F14-10 (4WDL) - F14-4 (GND) BE - BR AWD lock switch signal Ignition switch ON
      AWD lock switch OFF → ON
      11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      F14-6 (CANH) - F14-5 (CANL) L - W HIGH-level CAN bus wire - LOW-level CAN bus wire Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω
      F14-4 (GND) - Body ground BR - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      F14-3 (IG1) - F14-4 (GND) B - BR Power source voltage Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      F14-2 (SLC+) - F14-1 (SLC-) G - R 4WD linear solenoid signal Shift lever in D, idling Pulse generation (See waveform 1)

      If the result is not as specified, the 4WD ECU assembly may have a malfunction.

    2. Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform 1.
      WAVEFORM 1 (REFERENCE)
