How To Proceed With Troubleshooting [06/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

  2. INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE 
    1. Measure the auxiliary battery voltage with the power switch off.

      Standard voltage

      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the auxiliary battery before proceeding.

  3. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Using the Techstream, check the CAN communication function to ensure that there are no malfunctions in the communication system.

      Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [06/2015 - 11/2018] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2018 - ]

  4. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Using the Techstream, check the LIN communication function to ensure that there are no malfunctions in the communication system.
