Data Signal Circuit between Navigation Receiver Assembly and Extension Module [06/2015 - 01/2018]: Procedure

  1. CHECK NAVIGATION WIRE 
    1. Disconnect the navigation receiver assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the stereo component tuner assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Front view of navigation wire connector
      (to Navigation Receiver Assembly)
      *b Front view of navigation wire connector
      (to Stereo Component Tuner Assembly)

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      T4-1 (USV2) - T3-1 (USBV) Always Below 1 Ω
      T4-2 (US2-) - T3-2 (USB-) Always Below 1 Ω
      T4-3 (US2+) - T3-3 (USB+) Always Below 1 Ω
      T4-4 (UGD2) - T3-4 (USBG) Always Below 1 Ω
      T4-5 (USG) - T3-5 (USG) Always Below 1 Ω
      T4-1 (USV2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      T4-2 (US2-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      T4-3 (US2+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      T4-4 (UGD2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      T4-5 (USG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [06/2015 - 01/2018] 

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPLACE NAVIGATION WIRE. Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2015 - 01/2018]
