Operation Check [11/2015 - ]

  1. CHECK PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM CANCEL SWITCH (COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Check pre-collision system cancel switch (combination switch assembly) (warning timing adjustment)
      1. Turn the power switch on (IG).
      2. Operate the pre-collision system cancel switch (combination switch assembly) to change the warning timing of the pre-collision system between 3 levels and check that the warning timing adjustment display on the multi-information display changes between "Far", "Medium" and "Near".

        HINT: 

        • The warning timing setting is displayed for 6 seconds on the multi-information display.
        • "Medium" is the default setting.
    2. Check pre-collision system cancel switch (combination switch assembly) (system on/off)

      *a PCS Warning Light
      1. Turn the power switch on (IG).
      2. Press and hold the pre-collision system cancel switch (combination switch assembly) for 3 seconds or more and check that the PCS warning light in the combination meter assembly illuminates and "PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM TURNED OFF" is displayed in the multi-information display.

        HINT: 

        If the power switch is turned off with the pre-collision system off, the system will turn on when the power switch is turned on (IG) again.
