Pre-collision System Switch Circuit [11/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the G94 pre-collision system cancel switch (combination switch assembly) connector.
2. w/o Sliding Roof:

   Disconnect the Q7 pre-collision city sensor connector.

3. w/ Sliding Roof:

   Disconnect the Q8 pre-collision city sensor connector.

4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G94-1 (ECU) - Q7-9 (PCSW) *1 G94-1 (ECU) - Q8-9 (PCSW) *2	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G94-3 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G94-1 (ECU) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   • *1: w/o Sliding Roof
   • *2: w/ Sliding Roof
5. w/o Sliding Roof:

   Connect the Q7 pre-collision city sensor connector.

6. w/ Sliding Roof:

   Connect the Q8 pre-collision city sensor connector.

7. Connect the G94 pre-collision system cancel switch (combination switch assembly) connector.

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Remove the pre-collision system cancel switch (combination switch assembly) (Refer to REMOVAL [11/2015 - ] ).
2. Inspect the pre-collision system cancel switch (combination switch assembly) (Refer to INSPECTION [11/2015 - ] ).

Result: 

OK 

PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
