Removal [11/2015 - ]: Procedure

REMOVE PRE-COLLISION CITY COVER 2ND

Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides to remove the pre-collision city cover 2nd as shown in the illustration.

NOTE:

If these claws are disengaged separately, they may break. Insert a molding remover between them and pull it down to disengage the claws simultaneously.

REMOVE PRE-COLLISION CITY COVER

Disengage the 2 clips and 2 guides to remove the pre-collision city cover as shown in the illustration.

NOTE:

To avoid damaging the guides, always slide the pre-collision city cover parallel to the windshield glass.

REMOVE PRE-COLLISION CITY SENSOR

Disconnect the connector.

NOTE:

Do not pull the harness forcibly when disconnecting the connector.

Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides to remove the pre-collision city sensor as shown in the illustration.

NOTE:

If the pre-collision city sensor bracket is deformed, damaged or loose, replace it together with the windshield glass.
If the pre-collision city sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it with a new one.
Do not apply excessive force.
