Removal [11/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE PRE-COLLISION CITY COVER 2ND 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides to remove the pre-collision city cover 2nd as shown in the illustration.

      NOTE:

      If these claws are disengaged separately, they may break. Insert a molding remover between them and pull it down to disengage the claws simultaneously.

  2. REMOVE PRE-COLLISION CITY COVER 
    1. Disengage the 2 clips and 2 guides to remove the pre-collision city cover as shown in the illustration.

      NOTE:

      To avoid damaging the guides, always slide the pre-collision city cover parallel to the windshield glass.

  3. REMOVE PRE-COLLISION CITY SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

      NOTE:

      Do not pull the harness forcibly when disconnecting the connector.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides to remove the pre-collision city sensor as shown in the illustration.

      NOTE:
      • If the pre-collision city sensor bracket is deformed, damaged or loose, replace it together with the windshield glass.
      • If the pre-collision city sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it with a new one.
      • Do not apply excessive force.
