- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PRE-COLLISION CITY HEATER POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the Q9 pre-collision city heater wire connector.

(to Pre-collision City Heater Wire) - Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Q9-1 (IG) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V Power switch off Below 1 V - Connect the Q9 pre-collision city heater wire connector.
Result:
NG
REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (PRE-COLLISION CITY HEATER POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)

- INSPECT PRE-COLLISION CITY HEATER WIRE
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Remove the TSSC HTR relay.
- Inspect the TSSC HTR relay.

- Install the TSSC HTR relay.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PRE-COLLISION CITY HEATER WIRE - TSSC HTR RELAY AND PRE-COLLISION CITY SENSOR)
- Turn the power switch off.
- Disconnect the Q9 pre-collision city heater wire connector.
- Remove the TSSC HTR relay.
- w/o Sliding Roof:
- Disconnect the Q7 pre-collision city sensor connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Q9-2 (GND) - TSSC HTR relay holder terminal 3 Always Below 1 Ω Q9-2 (GND) - Q7-1 (SPR) Always Below 1 Ω Q7-1 (SPR) - TSSC HTR relay holder terminal 3 Always Below 1 Ω Q9-2 (GND), Q7-1 (SPR) or TSSC HTR relay holder terminal 3 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher - Connect the Q7 pre-collision city sensor connector.
- w/ Sliding Roof
- Connect the Q8 pre-collision city sensor connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Q9-2 (GND) - TSSC HTR relay holder terminal 3 Always Below 1 Ω Q9-2 (GND) - Q8-1 (SPR) Always Below 1 Ω Q8-1 (SPR) - TSSC HTR relay holder terminal 3 Always Below 1 Ω Q9-2 (GND), Q8-1 (SPR) or TSSC HTR relay holder terminal 3 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher - Connect the Q8 pre-collision city sensor connector.
- Install the TSSC HTR relay.
- Connect the Q9 pre-collision city heater wire connector.

- Remove the pre-collision city heater wire.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
