  1. PRECAUTION FOR DISCONNECTING CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, initialize the following systems after the cable is reconnected.

    System Name See Procedure
    Lane Departure Alert System (w/ Steering Control) Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2018 - 08/2019] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2019 - 07/2020]
    Intelligent Clearance Sonar System
    Simple Advanced Parking Guidance System
    Power Door Lock Control System
    Pre-collision System
    AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System)
  2. PRECAUTIONS FOR AUTOMATIC HEADLIGHT BEAM LEVEL CONTROL SYSTEM 
    1. If any of the following are performed, it is necessary to initialize the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH.

      Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2018 - 06/2021] 

      • Replacement of the rear height control sensor sub-assembly LH
      • Removal/installation of the rear height control sensor sub-assembly LH
      • Work that changes the vehicle height such as replacement of suspension components
    2. If the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH has been replaced, it is necessary to synchronize the vehicle information and initialize the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH.
