Operation Check [09/2016 - ]

FRONT WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY INSPECTION
1. AUTO Wiper Inspection (w/ Auto Wiper System)
  1. Check that the auto wiper customize setting is set to "Avail".
    Refer to CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS [09/2016 - ]
    
    HINT:
    
    When the auto wiper customize setting is set to "Not Avl", intermittent control will operate.
  2. Apply water to the windshield glass in front of the rain sensor.
  3. Turn the power switch on (IG).
  4. Move the windshield wiper switch assembly to the AUTO position.
  5. Check that the wipers move.
2. Intermittent operation inspection
  HINT:
  
  When the auto wiper customize setting is set to "Not Avl", intermittent control will operate.
  1. Turn the power switch on (IG).
  2. Move the windshield wiper switch assembly to the INT*1 or AUTO*2 position.
  3. Check that the wipers move intermittently.

WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY INSPECTION
1. Washer operation inspection
  1. Turn the power switch on (IG).
  2. Operate the washer switch for approximately 0.5 seconds or more and confirm that the front wipers operate in the LO setting when the washer fluid is sprayed and that the front wipers cycle 3 times after releasing the washer switch.
2. Drip prevention wiper function
  1. Turn the power switch on (IG).
  2. At a vehicle speed of approximately less than 4 km/h (2 mph), check that the front wipers operate for 1 cycle approximately 3 seconds after washer cooperation completes.
