Distance Control Switch Circuit [09/2016 - 07/2020]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Radar Cruise 2 / Data List.
5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

   Powertrain > Radar Cruise2 > Data List

2. Inspect the steering pad switch assembly.

   Refer to INSPECTION [09/2016 - ]

REPLACE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY. Refer to  COMPONENTS [09/2016 - ]

1. Remove the spiral cable sub-assembly.

   Refer to REMOVAL [09/2016 - 07/2020]

2. Inspect the spiral cable sub-assembly.

   Refer to INSPECTION [09/2016 - ]

REPLACE SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY. Refer to  COMPONENTS [09/2016 - ]

1. Disconnect the I23 spiral cable sub-assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the I41 driving support ECU assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   I23-12 (DIST) - I41-23 (SPSW)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   I23-2 (ECC) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω
   I23-12 (DIST) or I41-23 (SPSW) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
