Diagnosis System [12/2018 - ]

  1. DESCRIPTION 
    1. Automatic headlight beam level control system data and Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) can be read from the Data Link Connector 3 (DLC3) of the vehicle. When the system seems to be malfunctioning, use the Techstream to check for malfunctions and perform repairs.
  2. CHECK DLC3 
    1. Check the DLC3.

      Refer to GENERAL INFORMATION [11/2015 - ]

  3. INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE 
    1. Measure the auxiliary battery voltage with the power switch off.

      Standard Voltage

      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the auxiliary battery.

  4. DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM 
    1. If the automatic headlight beam level control system malfunctions, "Headlight System Malfunction Visit Your Dealer" warning message is displayed on the multi-information display.

      HINT: 

      In this case, the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH stores DTCs.
