Power Source Mode does not Change to ON (IG) [12/2012 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) - IG2 RELAY)
- Disconnect the G82 connectors from the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly).
- Remove the IG2 relay.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition G82-9 (IG2D) - 1 Always Below 1 Ω 2 - Body ground G82-9 (IG2D) or 1 - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher Result Proceed to OK NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

- INSPECT IG2 RELAY
- Remove the IG2 relay.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Disconnect the G84 connector from the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly).
- Disconnect the 3C and 3D connectors from the instrument panel junction block assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition G84-6 (IG1D) - 3C-43 Always Below 1 Ω 3D-9 - Body ground G84-6 (IG1D) or 3C-43 - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher Result Proceed to OK NG
