Front Camera Module Communication Stop Mode [10/2015 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS WIRE (FORWARD RECOGNITION CAMERA CAN BRANCH WIRE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

(to Forward Recognition Camera) - Disconnect the forward recognition camera connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Q17-5 (CA1P) - Q17-11 (CA1N) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω
Result:
NG
REPAIR OR REPLACE FORWARD RECOGNITION CAMERA CAN BRANCH WIRE OR CONNECTOR (CA1P, CA1N)
Result:
OK

- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FORWARD RECOGNITION CAMERA - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

(to Forward Recognition Camera) - Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition Q17-7 (IGB) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Q17-10 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
