Sound Signal Circuit between Navigation Receiver Assembly and Stereo Jack Adapter [11/2013 - 10/2015]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the G143 navigation receiver assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the G145 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G143-25 (ADPG) - G145-9 (AUXO) Always Below 1 Ω
      G143-26 (VAR+) - G145-6 (ARO) Always Below 1 Ω
      G143-28 (VAL+) - G145-7 (ALO) Always Below 1 Ω
      G143-27 (VA-) - G145-8 (ASGN) Always Below 1 Ω
      G143-11 (AGND) - G145-10 (AGND) Always Below 1 Ω
      G143-25 (ADPG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G143-26 (VAR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G143-28 (VAL+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G143-27 (VA-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G143-11 (AGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      Result Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [11/2013 - 10/2015]  .
