Auto Down Operation does not Fully Open Power Window (Catch Protection Function is Activated) [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Initialize the power window regulator motor assembly (applicable location).

   Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2015 - ] .

1. Check that each power window moves when the auto up and down function of the multiplex network master switch assembly is operated.

   Refer to OPERATION CHECK [12/2012 - ] .

   OK

   Auto up and down function is normal (applicable location).

Result: 

OK 

END (PROBLEM DUE TO INITIALIZATION FAILURE)

1. Remove the door window regulator.
   • for Driver Door:

     Refer to DISASSEMBLY [12/2012 - ] .

2. Install the window glass to the door glass run.
   • for Driver Door:

     Refer to REASSEMBLY [12/2012 - ] .

3. Check if the door window regulator operates smoothly.
4. Check that the window glass slides smoothly when sliding it up by hand.
   WARNING:

   Perform initialization again.

   HINT: 

   Ensure the following: 

   • The window glass fits with the glass run without improper contact or deformation.
   • Foreign matter is not caught in the glass run.
   • The glass run is not misaligned.
   • The belt moulding or inner weatherstrip is not caught.
   • The glass is not tilted and does not catch.

   Door window glass slides smoothly.
