AWD Warning Light does not Come ON [10/2015 - 08/2016]: Procedure

1. Check if CAN communication system DTCs are output.

   Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2015 - 08/2016]

   HINT: 

   When DTCs indicating a CAN communication system malfunction are output, repair the CAN communication system before repairing each corresponding sensor.

Result: 

CAN communication system DTC is output 

GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING):  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2015 - ] 

Result: 

CAN communication system DTC is not output 

See step  2

1. Disconnect the G86 4WD ECU assembly connector.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. for Segment Display Type:

   Check that the AWD warning light comes on.

   OK

   AWD warning light comes on.

4. for TFT Display Type:

   Check that the AWD warning message is displayed.

   OK

   The AWD warning message is displayed.

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE 4WD ECU ASSEMBLY:  REMOVAL [12/2012 - ] 

Result: 

NG
