DTC B1787: Rear Occupant Classification Sensor LH Collision Detection [12/2012 - ]: Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
2. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2012 - ]

   Body Electrical > Occupant Detection > Clear DTCs 

3. Turn the ignition switch off.
4. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
5. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2012 - ]

   Body Electrical > Occupant Detection > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   Proceed to
   DTC B1787 is not output
   DTC B1787 is output

   HINT: 

   DTCs other than DTC B1787 may be output at this time, but they are not related to this check.

     Refer to REMOVAL [12/2012 - 08/2016] or REMOVAL [08/2016 - ]

   HINT: 

   Perform the inspection using parts from a normal vehicle when possible.
