Start Up Signal Circuit between Radio Receiver Assembly and Navigation ECU [11/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NAVIGATION ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the D197 radio and display receiver assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the D199 navigation ECU connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D197-7 (SUP) - D199-21 (SUP) Always Below 1 Ω
      D197-7 (SUP) or D199-21 (SUP) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    Result: 

    OK 

    PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 

    (Refer to Start Up Signal Circuit between Radio Receiver Assembly and Navigation ECU [11/2017 - ] )

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
