Power Seat Power Easy Access System Function does not Operate [12/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally (Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2015 - 08/2016] Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [08/2016 - 11/2017] Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2017 - ] ).

   OK

   CAN communication DTC is not output.

Result: 

NG 

GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Driver Seat / Data List.
5. According to the display on the Techstream, read the Data List.

REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU 

(Refer to REMOVAL [12/2015 - ] )

1. Remove the front seat inner belt assembly LH (Refer to REMOVAL [12/2015 - ] ).

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

3. Reinstall the front seat inner belt assembly LH.

REPLACE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

1. Disconnect the Y9 front power seat switch LH connector.
2. Disconnect the Y13 front seat inner belt assembly LH connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   Y9-10 (DBCL) - Y13-1 (RDC)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   Y13-2 (E) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω
   Y9-10 (DBCL) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

4. Reconnect the front seat inner belt assembly LH connector.
5. Reconnect the front power seat switch LH connector.

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH
