DTC U0100: Lost Communication with ECM / PCM "A"; DTC U0129: Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module; DTC U0131: Lost Communication with Power Steering Control Module; DTC U0151: Lost Communication with Airbag ECU; DTC U0163: Lost Communication with Navigation Control Module [12/2015 - 11/2017]: Procedure

  1. CONFIRM DTC OUTPUT 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Trouble Codes.
    5. Clear DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2015 - ] ).
    6. Drive the vehicle at more than 5 km/h (3.1 mph) for at least 60 seconds.
    7. Stop the vehicle.
    8. Check DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2015 - ] ).
      RESULT

      Result Proceed to
      DTC is output A
      DTC is not output B

      HINT: 

      If CAN communication system DTC U0100, U0129, U0131, U0151 or U0163 and another DTC are output at the same time, perform troubleshooting for CAN communication system DTC U0100, U0129, U0131, U0151 or U0163 first.

    Result: 

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2015 - 08/2016]  Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [08/2016 - 11/2017] 

    Result: 

    USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK
