Diagnosis System [12/2015 - 11/2017]

  1. DESCRIPTION 

    Active torque control 4WD system data can be read in the Data Link Connector 3 (DLC3) of the vehicle. When the system seems to be malfunctioning, use the Techstream to check for malfunctions and perform repairs. Therefore when there seems to be a problem with the active torque control 4WD system, use the Techstream or SST to check and troubleshoot it.

  2. CHECK DATA LINK CONNECTOR 3 (DLC3) 
    1. Check the DLC3 (Refer to GENERAL INFORMATION [12/2015 - ] ).
  3. FUNCTION OF AWD WARNING 
    1. If a malfunction occurs during system operation, "CHECK AWD SYSTEM"*1 or "Check AWD System"*2 will be displayed on the multi-information display to inform the driver of the system malfunction.

      HINT: 

      Check that the master warning light comes on for approximately 4 seconds.

      1. *1: for Multi-information Display (Monochrome Type)
      2. *2: for Multi-information Display (Color Type)
  4. CHECK MASTER WARNING LIGHT 
    1. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and check that the master warning light comes on for approximately 4 seconds.

      HINT: 

      The master warning light goes off while the system is in DTC output mode.
