- CHECK DTC AND FREEZE FRAME DATA*
- Check and record DTCs and Freeze Frame Data.
- Clear the DTCs and Freeze Frame Data (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2017 - ] for DTC Check/Clear, and Refer to FREEZE FRAME DATA [11/2017 - ] for Freeze Frame Data).
- Recheck for DTCs.
- Recheck for DTCs based on the recorded DTCs and Freeze Frame Data (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2017 - ] for DTC Check/Clear, and Refer to FREEZE FRAME DATA [11/2017 - ] for Freeze Frame Data).
HINT:
- When DTCs indicating CAN communication system malfunctions are output, repair the CAN communication system first (Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2017 - ] for with Central Gateway ECU, Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2017 - ] for without Central Gateway ECU).
- If U0100, U0124 and/or U0126 are among the CAN communication DTCs that are output, first use the Data List to check for a momentary open circuit (Refer to CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS [11/2017 - ] ).
- If the Techstream cannot communicate with the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly), inspect the CAN communication system (Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2017 - ] for with Central Gateway ECU, Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2017 - ] for without Central Gateway ECU).
- If there is no response from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly), inspect the IG1 circuit of the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) (Refer to DTC C1241: Low Power Supply Voltage Malfunction [11/2017 - ] and Refer to DTC C1417: High Power Supply Voltage Malfunction [11/2017 - ] ).
