Installation [03/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL PRE-COLLISION CITY SENSOR 
    1. When using a new pre-collision city sensor:
      1. Remove the protective film.
        NOTE:

        Do not touch the camera lens after removing the protective film.

    2. Engage the 2 guides.

      *a 32° to 54° - -
      NOTE:

      Do not touch the camera lens.

      HINT: 

      Insert the pre-collision city sensor into the bracket at an angle between 32° and 54°.

    3. Engage the 2 claws to install the pre-collision city sensor as shown in the illustration.
    4. Check that the claws are securely engaged as shown in the illustration.

    5. Connect the connector.
  2. INSTALL PRE-COLLISION CITY COVER 
    1. Engage the 2 clips and 2 guides to install the pre-collision city cover as shown in the illustration.

  3. INSTALL PRE-COLLISION CITY COVER 2ND 
    1. Engage the 2 claws and 2 guides to install the pre-collision city cover 2nd as shown in the illustration.

  4. ADJUST PRE-COLLISION CITY SENSOR 
    1. Perform adjustment using One Time Recognition or Sequential Recognition.
    2. One Time Recognition:

      Refer to ADJUSTMENT (ONE TIME RECOGNITION) [03/2017 - ] 

    3. Sequential Recognition:

      Refer to ADJUSTMENT (SEQUENTIAL RECOGNITION) [03/2017 - ]
