DTC U2300-54: Central Configuration Missing Calibration: Procedure

  1. VERIFY MAIN BODY ECU DTCS AGAIN 
    1. Clear the DTC for the main body ECU using the Techstream.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR

      Body Electrical > Body Control Module > Clear DTCs 

    2. Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 10 s or more.
    3. Retrieve the main body ECU DTCs using the Techstream.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR

      Body Electrical > Body Control Module > Trouble Codes 

    4. Is the same DTC displayed?

      Result

      Result
      Yes
      No

    Result:  2

    No

    Result:  1

    Yes

  2. VERIFY COMBINATION METER DTCS 
    1. Retrieve the combination meter DTCs using the Techstream.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR

      Body Electrical > Instrument Cluster > Trouble Codes 

    2. Are any DTCs displayed?

      Result

      Result
      Yes
      No

    Result:  2

    Yes 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE THE MALFUNCTIONING PART ACCORDING TO THE APPLICABLE DTC TROUBLESHOOTING. 

    1. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART

    Result:  1

    No

  3. RESET CONFIGURATION DATA FROM COMBINATION METER TO MAIN BODY ECU 
    1. Using the Techstream, perform the combination meter configuration (using As-Built data).

      Refer to INSPECTION

    2. Clear the DTC for the main body ECU using the Techstream.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR

      Body Electrical > Body Control Module > Clear DTCs 

    3. Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 10 s or more.
    4. Retrieve the main body ECU DTCs using the Techstream.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR

      Body Electrical > Body Control Module > Trouble Codes 

    5. Is the same DTC displayed?

      Result

      Result
      Yes
      No

    Result:  1

    Yes

    Result:  2

    No

  4. VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED 
    1. Clear the DTC for the main body ECU using the Techstream.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR

      Body Electrical > Body Control Module > Clear DTCs 

    2. Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 10 s or more.
    3. Retrieve the main body ECU DTCs using the Techstream.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR

      Body Electrical > Body Control Module > Trouble Codes 

    4. Is the same DTC displayed?

      Result

      Result
      Yes
      No

    Result:  2

    Yes

    No

  5. VERIFY IF OTHER DTCS DISPLAYED 
    1. Are any other DTCs displayed?

      Result

      Result
      Yes
      No

    Result:  1

    Yes 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE THE MALFUNCTIONING PART ACCORDING TO THE APPLICABLE DTC TROUBLESHOOTING.. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART 

    Result:  2

    No 

    DTC TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED. 

  6. REPLACE THE MAIN BODY ECU, THEN GO TO THE NEXT STEP. 
    1. Refer to REMOVAL

      Result

  7. USING THE TECHSTREAM, PERFORM THE COMBINATION METER CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA) AGAIN, THEN GO TO THE NEXT STEP. 
    1. Refer to INSPECTION
