Roll-Over Valve: Inspection: Procedure

INSPECT NON-RETURN VALVE
1. Complete the "BEFORE SERVICE PRECAUTION".
  Refer to PRECAUTION
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  Refer to REMOVAL
3. Remove the rear seat cushion.
  Refer to REMOVAL
4. Remove the fuel pump unit.
  Refer to REMOVAL
5. Drain the fuel from the fuel tank to the position where the roll-over valve is visible.
  Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
  
  HINT:
  - Roll-over valve is integrated in the fuel tank.
  - The roll-over valve is normally closed by the spring force.
6. Verify that the roll-over valve is closed.
  If the roll-over valve is stuck open and does not open even when pulled up by a finger, replace the fuel tank.
