TPMS Reset Procedures: Notes

When the tire pressure warning light does not go off, or when it comes on during driving, check tire pressure and adjust as necessary. The warning light should turn off within a few minutes.

NOTE: The system will need to be initialized when: A tire pressure is adjusted. Tire rotation is performed. A tire or wheel is replaced. The battery is replaced or completely drained. The tire pressure monitoring system warning light is illuminated. See INITIALIZING TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR SYSTEM .

NOTE: This vehicle has an Indirect TPMS. It DOES NOT use tire pressure sensors installed on the wheels. The system monitors the tire pressures indirectly using the data sent from the ABS wheel speed sensors.
