DTC B1D36-86: Turn Indicator Switch Signal Invalid: Procedure
- VERIFY MAIN BODY ECU DTCS AGAIN
- Clear the DTC for the main body ECU using the Techstream.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR
Body Electrical > Body Control Module > Clear DTCs
- Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 2 s or more.
- Retrieve the main body ECU DTCs using the Techstream.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR
Body Electrical > Body Control Module > Trouble Codes
- Is the same DTC displayed?

- Clear the DTC for the main body ECU using the Techstream.
- DETERMINE MALFUNCTIONING LOCATION BY PERFORMING PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION
- Using the Techstream, display the following PIDs for the engine stop and start ECU.
Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST
- Turn Switch (Left)
- Turn Switch (Right)
Body Electrical > Smart Start Unit > Data List
Tester Display Turn Switch (Left) Turn Switch (Right) - Does the PID monitoring value switch correctly according to the headlight dimmer switch operation?

- If the malfunction recurs, replace the main body ECU.
