Freeze Frame Data [06/2017 - ]

  1. FREEZE FRAME DATA 
    1. The pre-collision city sensor records vehicle and driving condition information as freeze frame data the moment a DTC is stored.
  2. CHECK FREEZE FRAME DATA 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / PCS/LDA/RSA/LVN / Trouble Codes.
    5. According to the Techstream display, select a DTC that stored freeze frame data.
    6. Read the freeze frame data recorded when the DTC was stored.

      Tester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note
      Lidar Detect Target Distance Displays distance of the highest priority object which is detected by Lidar. / 0 to 51.0 m Distance between the vehicle and a preceding vehicle When no preceding vehicle is detected, "0 m" (0 ft.) is displayed
      PCS Buzzer Demand - - This item is displayed on the Techstream but is not used
      Skid Control Buzzer Demand Displays meter buzzer condition / ON or OFF ON: Meter buzzer operating
      OFF: Meter buzzer not operating

      RSA Equipped Information - - This item is displayed on the Techstream but is not used
      RSA Fusion Control - - This item is displayed on the Techstream but is not used
      Traffic Sign Speed Unit - - This item is displayed on the Techstream but is not used
      Estimated Traffic Division - - This item is displayed on the Techstream but is not used
      LVN Equipped Information - - This item is displayed on the Techstream but is not used
      History of Blockage Displays whether there are camera or laser sensor obstruction history / ON or OFF ON: Pre-collision city sensor (camera or laser sensor) obstruction history exists
      OFF: Pre-collision city sensor (camera or laser sensor) obstruction history does not exist

      History of Low Voltage Displays whether there is low voltage history / ON or OFF ON: Pre-collision city sensor low voltage history exists
      OFF: Pre-collision city sensor low voltage history does not exist
      -
      History of High Voltage Displays whether there is high voltage history / ON or OFF ON: Pre-collision city sensor high voltage history exists
      OFF: Pre-collision city sensor high voltage history does not exist

      History of Low Temperature Displays whether there is low temperature history / ON or OFF ON: Pre-collision city sensor low temperature history exists
      OFF: Pre-collision city sensor low temperature history does not exist

      History of High Temperature Displays whether there is high temperature history / ON or OFF ON: Pre-collision city sensor high temperature history exists
      OFF: Pre-collision city sensor high temperature history does not exist

      Blockage Status Displays whether there is a camera obstruction malfunction / ON or OFF ON: Pre-collision city sensor (camera) obstructed
      OFF: Pre-collision city sensor (camera) not obstructed

      Low Voltage Status Displays whether there is a low voltage malfunction / ON or OFF ON: Pre-collision city sensor low voltage malfunction exists
      OFF: Pre-collision city sensor low voltage malfunction does not exist

      High Voltage Status Displays whether there is a high voltage malfunction / ON or OFF ON: Pre-collision city sensor high voltage malfunction exists
      OFF: Pre-collision city sensor high voltage malfunction does not exist

      Low Temperature Status Displays whether there is a low temperature malfunction / ON or OFF ON: Pre-collision city sensor low temperature malfunction exists

      High Temperature Status Displays whether there is a high temperature malfunction / ON or OFF ON: Pre-collision city sensor high temperature malfunction exists
      OFF: Pre-collision city sensor high temperature malfunction does not exist

      Lidar Blockage Status Displays whether laser sensor is dirty / ON or OFF ON: Dirt on pre-collision city sensor (laser sensor)
      OFF: No dirt on pre-collision city sensor (laser sensor)

      Control Mode Displays ECU control mode status / Normal or Check Mode Normal: Normal operation
      Check Mode: Operating in Control Mode
