POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
1. The power door lock system locks/unlocks all the doors.
  The main body ECU (network gateway ECU) receives lock/unlock request signals from a door control switch. Then, the main body ECU (network gateway ECU) sends these request signals to the door lock motors in each door to lock/unlock each door in response to the inputs.

FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS

Components	Function
Power window regulator master switch assembly Door control switch	The door control switch on the power window regulator master switch assembly locks/unlocks all doors.
Power window regulator switch assembly Door control switch	The door control switch on the power window regulator switch assembly locks/unlocks all doors.
Door courtesy light switch assembly	Placed on each door. Detects door status (open or closed) and outputs a signal to main body ECU (network gateway ECU). Turns on when door is opened and turns off when door is closed.
Front door Lock assembly LH Front door Lock assembly RH	The built-in motor locks/unlocks the door.
Luggage door closer assembly	Built-in motor unlatches door latch. Built-in courtesy switch detects luggage compartment door status (open or closed) and outputs a signal to main body ECU (network gateway ECU). This switch turns on when luggage compartment door is opened and turns off when luggage compartment door is closed

SYSTEM FUNCTION

This system is controlled by the main body ECU (network gateway ECU). The main body ECU (network gateway ECU) outputs signals to each door lock motor. The power door lock control system has the following functions:

Function	Outline
Manual lock and unlock function	This function can lock or unlock all doors by the door control switch operation.
Key lock-in prevention function	When the door lock operation is performed with the key in the ignition key cylinder, door will be locked once and immediately unlocked.
Manual unlock prohibition function	When the condition below is met, unlocking the vehicle using the door control switch will be prohibited: The doors are locked using a wireless key operation with all doors closed.
