Inner Rear View Mirror Power Source Circuit [12/2017 - ]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the K5 inner rear view mirror assembly connector.

   *a	Front view of wire harness connector (to Inner Rear View Mirror Assembly)

2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   K5-1 - Body ground	Ignition switch ON	Below 1 V
   	Ignition switch off	11 to 14 V

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   K5-2 - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 

Result: 

NG 

See step  2

1. Disconnect the K5 inner rear view mirror assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the 3A instrument panel junction block assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   K5-1 - 3A-5	Always	Below 1 Ω
   K5-1 or 3A-5 - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK
