Improper Operation [02/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK POWER WINDOW OPERATION HISTORY 
    1. Use the Techstream to check the door glass operation history around the time that the malfunction reported by the customer occurred, based on the contents of the customer interview and the last recorded door window operation history around the time that the problem is reported to have occurred.
      1. On the Techstream screen, enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Utility / Operation History Analysis. According to the display on the Techstream, read the operation history.

        Refer to OPERATION HISTORY LIST [02/2017 - ] 

      2. Check that there is power window operation history as reported by the customer.

        Refer to OPERATION HISTORY LIST [02/2017 - ] 

        HINT: 

        Based on the displayed operation history, perform vehicle-side inspection, and perform repairs if a problem is found. If the vehicle has no malfunction, interview the customer about possible causes such as "the driver" and "environmental / other than the driver".

  2. CHECK DOOR LOCK OPERATION 
    1. Check power door lock operation.

      Refer to OPERATION CHECK [02/2017 - 10/2017] , or refer to OPERATION CHECK [10/2017 - 12/2021] , or refer to OPERATION CHECK [12/2021 - ]

      OK

      Power door lock operates normally.

  3. CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL FUNCTIONS 
    1. Check the wireless door lock control function
      1. w/ Smart Key System:

        Refer to OPERATION CHECK [02/2017 - 10/2017] , or refer to OPERATION CHECK [10/2017 - 12/2021] , or refer to OPERATION CHECK [12/2021 - ]

      1. w/o Smart Key System:

        Refer to OPERATION CHECK [02/2017 - 10/2017] , or refer to OPERATION CHECK [10/2017 - 12/2021] , or refer to OPERATION CHECK [12/2021 - ]

      OK

      Wireless door lock function operates normally.

  4. INTERVIEW THE CUSTOMER 
    1. If the phenomenon could not be confirmed or reproduced, after explaining this to the customer, also explain the history of input signals involving systems such as the multiplex network master switch assembly and electronic key (electrical key transmitter sub-assembly) for the relevant date/time in the operational history.
