Terminals Of Power Window Regulator Master Switch Assembly [12/2013 - ]

  1. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the I7 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      I7-11 (B) - I7-12 (GND) GR - W-B Power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      I7-12 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the I7 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      I7-15 (DOWN) - I7-12 (GND) V - W-B Power window motor down output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window regulator switch not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V

      I7-20 (UP) - I7-12 (GND) L - W-B Power window motor up output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window regulator switch not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      I7-20 (UP) - I7-12 (GND) L - W-B Power window motor up output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, driver door power window regulator switch pulled halfway up (Manual operation) Below 1 V
  2. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the H8 power window regulator switch assembly connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      H8-7 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the H8 power window regulator switch assembly connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      H8-2 (IG) - H8-7 (GND) LG - W-B IG power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      H8-5 (UP) - H8-7 (GND) L - W-B Power window motor up output Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window fully open 11 to 14 V

  3. CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR LH DOOR)

    1. Disconnect the K6 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door) connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

    3. Reconnect the K6 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

  4. CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR RH DOOR)

    1. Disconnect the J6 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for RH door) connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

    3. Reconnect the J6 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for RH door) connector.

    1. Disconnect the I4 power window regulator motor assembly (for driver door) connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

    1. Disconnect the H5 power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger door) connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

    1. Disconnect the K2 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear LH door) connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

  8. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (FOR REAR RH DOOR)

    1. Disconnect the J2 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear RH door) connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      J2-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

    3. Reconnect the J2 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear RH door) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly.

      Refer to REMOVAL [12/2013 - ]

    2. Reconnect the instrument panel junction block assembly connectors.
    3. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connectors disconnected.

    4. Install the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) to the instrument panel junction block assembly.

    5. Measure the voltage and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.
