DTC B162B: Side Airbag Sensor Assembly No. 2 Lost Communication (RH); DTC B162C: Side Airbag Sensor Assembly No. 2 Initialization Error (RH) [02/2019 - 08/2020]: Description

The side collision sensor RH circuit consists of the airbag ECU assembly and floor side airbag sensor RH.

The floor side airbag sensor RH detects impacts to the vehicle and send signals to the airbag ECU assembly to determine if the SRS should be deployed.

These DTCs are stored when a malfunction is detected in the No. 2 side collision sensor RH circuit.
