- CHECK CONNECTORS
- Turn the ignition switch off.
*1 Front Seat Outer Belt Assembly RH *2 Airbag ECU Assembly *3 Floor Wire - Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
- Check that the connectors are properly connected to the front seat outer belt assembly RH and airbag ECU assembly.
OK
The connectors are properly connected.
HINT:
If the connectors are not properly connected, reconnect the connectors and proceed to the next inspection.
- Disconnect the connectors from the front seat outer belt assembly RH and airbag ECU assembly.
- Check that the terminals of the connectors are not deformed or damaged.
OK
The terminals are not deformed or damaged.
- Check that the floor wire connector (on the front seat outer belt assembly RH side) is not loose, deformed or damaged.
OK
The connector locking button is not disengaged, and the claw of the lock is not deformed or damaged.
- Check that the short springs of the activation prevention mechanism of the floor wire connector are not deformed or damaged.
OK
The short springs are not deformed or damaged.

- Turn the ignition switch off.
- CHECK FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH
- Connect the connector to the airbag ECU assembly.
*1 Front Seat Outer Belt Assembly RH *2 Airbag ECU Assembly *3 SST *a Front view of wire harness connector
(to Front Seat Outer Belt Assembly RH) - Connect the white wire side of SST (resistance: 2.1 Ω) to connector C.WARNING:
Never connect the tester to the front seat outer belt assembly RH for measurement, as this may lead to a serious injury due to airbag deployment.
NOTE:- Do not forcibly insert SST into the terminals of the connector when connecting SST.
- Insert SST straight into the terminals of the connector.
- SST: 09843-18061
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Clear the DTCs stored in memory.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2018 - 08/2020]
Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Clear DTCs
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Check for DTCs.
