DTC P2111-72: Throttle Actuator "A" Control System Actuator Stuck Open; DTC P2111-73: Throttle Actuator "A" Control System Actuator Stuck Closed [02/2019 - 06/2020]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Codes.
5. Read the DTCs.

   Powertrain > Engine > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   DTC P2111-72 or P2111-73 is output	A
   DTC P2111-72 or P2111-73 and other DTCs are output	B

   HINT: 

   If any DTCs other than P2111-72 or P2111-73 are output, troubleshoot those DTCs first.

1. Check for foreign matter between the throttle valve and housing. If necessary, clean the throttle body with motor assembly. Also check that the throttle valve moves smoothly.

   OK

   Throttle valve is not contaminated with foreign matter and moves smoothly.

   HINT: 

   Perform "Inspection After Repair" after cleaning the throttle body with motor assembly.

   Refer to INITIALIZATION [02/2019 - 10/2019] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2019 - 08/2020]

5. Read the values displayed on the Techstream while wiggling the ECM wire harness.

7. Read the DTCs.
