How To Proceed With Troubleshooting [12/2015 - 11/2017]: Procedure

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

  2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE* 

    Standard voltage

    11 to 14 V

    If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding to the next step.

    CHARGE OR REPLACE BATTERY 

    Result: 

    OK

  3. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally (See reference. Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2015 - 08/2016] Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [08/2016 - 11/2017] ).

  4. CHECK FOR DTC* 
    1. Check for DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2015 - 11/2017] ).
      1. Record the DTCs.
    2. Clear the DTCs.
    3. Recheck for DTCs.
      1. Attempt to duplicate the malfunction and check if the DTCs are output again (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2015 - 11/2017] ).

      DTC is output B
      No DTC is output, and malfunction cannot be duplicated or checked C
