- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (VEHICLE SPEED METER)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Data List.
- Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.COMBINATION METER

- Disconnect the A24 ECM connector.
- Disconnect the J202 radio and display receiver assembly connector.
- w/ Navigation System
Disconnect the J206 navigation ECU connector.
- for 14 Speakers:
Disconnect the J209 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
- w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System
Disconnect the J35 clearance warning ECU assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition J199-5 (SPD) - J28-29 (+S) Always Below 1 Ω J199-5 (SPD) or J28-29 (+S) - Other terminals and body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher - Reconnect the J199 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
- Reconnect the J28 combination meter assembly connector.
- Reconnect the A24 ECM connector.
- Reconnect the J202 radio and display receiver assembly connector.
- w/ Navigation System
Reconnect the J206 navigation ECU connector.
- for 14 Speakers:
Reconnect the J209 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
- w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System
