DTC P2107-00: Throttle Actuator "A" Control Module Processor [07/2015 - 08/2018]: Procedure
- INSPECT THROTTLE BODY CONNECTOR CONDITION
- Switch the ignition off.
- Disconnect the throttle body connector.
- Inspect for poor connection (such as damaged/pulled-out pins, corrosion).
- Is there any malfunction?

- INSPECT ECM CONNECTOR CONDITION
- Disconnect the ECM connector.
- Inspect for poor connection (such as damaged/pulled-out pins, corrosion).

- INSPECT THROTTLE VALVE ACTUATOR CIRCUITS FOR SHORT TO EACH OTHER
- Verify that the throttle body and ECM connectors are disconnected.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- VERIFY DTC TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED
- Always reconnect all disconnected connectors.
- Clear the DTC from the ECM memory using the Techstream.

- Perform the KOEO or KOER self test.

GO TO THE APPLICABLE DTC INSPECTION.
- Perform the "AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE".
- REPEAT THE INSPECTION FROM STEP 1.
- If the malfunction recurs, replace the ECM.

- REFER TO THE WIRING DIAGRAM AND VERIFY WHETHER OR NOT THERE IS A COMMON CONNECTOR BETWEEN THE FOLLOWING TERMINALS:
- Throttle body terminal C8-5-ECM terminal C27-18
- Throttle body terminal C8-6-ECM terminal C27-17
If there is a common connector:
- Determine the malfunctioning part by inspecting the common connector and the terminal for corrosion, damage, or pin disconnection, and the common wiring harness for a short to each other.
- Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.
If there is no common connector:
- Repair or replace the wiring harness which has a short to each other.
