Applicable |
- Drive cycle: 1
- Monitor item: CCM
- Self test type: CMDTC self test, KOEO self test, KOER self test
|
200 PIN TYPE
| DTC DETECTION CONDITION |
APP sensor No. 2 circuit low input |
- The ECM monitors the input voltage from APP sensor No. 2. If the input voltage at the ECM terminal A42-43 is less than 0.1 V, the ECM determines that the APP sensor No. 2 circuit has a malfunction.
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
- The check engine light illuminates if the ECM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA (Mode 02)/Snapshot data is available.
- DTC is stored in the ECM memory.
|
| FAIL-SAFE OPERATION |
- Regulates the upper limit of the APP sensor output.
|
| TROUBLE AREA |
- APP sensor connector or terminals malfunction
- Short to ground / open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- APP sensor terminal E7-6-ECM terminal A42-29
- APP sensor terminal E7-5-ECM terminal A42-43
- ECM connector or terminals malfunction
- APP sensor No. 2 signal circuit and ground circuit are shorted to each other
- APP sensor No. 2 malfunction
- ECM malfunction
|
186 PIN TYPE
| DTC DETECTION CONDITION |
APP sensor No. 2 circuit low input |
- The ECM monitors the input voltage from APP sensor No. 2. If the input voltage at the ECM terminal A43-70 is less than 0.1 V, the ECM determines that the APP sensor No. 2 circuit has a malfunction.
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
- The check engine light illuminates if the ECM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA/Snapshot data is available.
- DTC is stored in the ECM memory.
