Push Button Start System Does Not Operate [07/2015 - ]: Contents

Description

When the engine switch is pressed, the ignition cannot be switched to ACC or ON (engine off).

Trouble Area

Fuse malfunction
Customer mis-operation or misunderstanding
Open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Engine stop and start ECU terminal D6-20 and engine switch terminal D32-2
- Engine stop and start ECU terminal D4-17 and engine switch terminal D32-5
- Engine stop and start ECU terminal D6-32 and ground
- Engine stop and start ECU terminal D4-13 and ground
- Engine stop and start ECU terminal D4-1 and ground
