DTC U2101-00: Control Module Configuration Incompatible; DTC U2300-52: Central Configuration not activated; DTC U2300-54: Central Configuration missing calibration; DTC U2300-55: Central Configuration not configured; DTC U2300-56: Central Configuration invalid / incompatible configuration; DTC U2300-64: Central Configuration signal plausibility failure [07/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. RECORD CONFIGURATION DATA 
    1. Switch the ignition OFF.
    2. Switch the ignition ON (engine off), and maintain this condition for approx. 10 s or more.
    3. Switch the ignition OFF, and maintain this condition for approx. 3 s or more.
    4. Switch the ignition ON (engine off), and maintain this condition for approx. 3 s or more.

      Result

      Proceed to

  2. VERIFY BRAKE ACTUATOR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTC.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2019 - ]

      Chassis > ABS/DSC/TCS > Clear DTCs 

    2. Recheck for DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2019 - ]

      Chassis > ABS/DSC/TCS > Trouble Codes 

    3. Is the same DTC present?

      Result

      Proceed to
      Yes
      No

    Result: 

    Yes

  3. VERIFY IF PARTS FROM ANOTHER VEHICLE INSTALLED TO COMBINATION METER, ECM OR BRAKE ACTUATOR 
    1. Verify if an combination meter, ECM or brake actuator from another vehicle is installed.
    2. Has an combination meter, ECM, brake actuator or other vehicle part been installed to vehicle?

      Result

      Proceed to
      Yes
      No

    Result: 

    Yes

  4. VERIFY COMBINATION METER AND ECM DTC 
    1. Recheck for DTCs.
      1. for Combination Meter:

        Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2019 - ]

      Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Trouble Codes 

      1. for ECM:

        Refer to ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [07/2015 - ]

      Powertrain > Engine > Trouble Codes 

    2. Are any DTCs present?

      Result

      Proceed to
      Yes
      No

    Result: 

    Yes

  5. VERIFY BRAKE ACTUATOR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTC.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2019 - ]

      Chassis > ABS/DSC/TCS > Clear DTCs 

    2. Recheck for DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2019 - ]

      Chassis > ABS/DSC/TCS > Trouble Codes 

    3. Is the same DTC present?

      Result

      Proceed to
      Yes
      No

    Result: 

    Yes

  6. VERIFY NO DTC IS PRESENT 
    1. Are any DTCs present?

      Result

      Proceed to
      Yes
      No

    Result: 

    No 

    DTC TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED.

    GO TO APPLICABLE DTC INSPECTION.. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [07/2015 - 08/2019]  , or refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [08/2019 - ] 

  7. REPEAT THE INSPECTION FROM STEP 1. 
    1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the brake actuator, then go to the next step.

      Refer to REMOVAL [07/2015 - ]

  8. GO TO APPLICABLE DTC INSPECTION. 
    1. for Combination Meter:

      Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [07/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [08/2019 - ]

    2. for ECM:

      Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [07/2015 - 08/2018] , or refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [08/2018 - 08/2019] , or refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [08/2019 - ]

    3. DTC troubleshooting completed, then go to the next step.

  9. INSTALL THE CORRECT COMBINATION METER, ECM OR BRAKE ACTUATOR. 
    1. for Combination Meter:

      Refer to INSTALLATION [07/2015 - ]

    2. for ECM:

      Refer to INSTALLATION [07/2015 - ]

    3. for Brake Actuator:

      Refer to INSTALLATION [07/2015 - ] 

    4. Then go to the next step.

      Result

  10. REPEAT THE INSPECTION FROM STEP 1.
