VERIFY DTC FOR MODULE COMMUNICATION

Switch the ignition off, then ON (engine off).
Perform the DTC Reading Procedure.
Refer to ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [07/2015 - ]

VERIFY COMBINATION METER DTC

Perform the combination meter DTC inspection using the Techstream.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2015 - 08/2019]

INSPECT COMBINATION METER CONNECTOR CONDITION

Switch the ignition off.
Disconnect the combination meter connector.
Inspect for poor connection (such as damaged/pulled-out pins, corrosion).

Disconnect the ECM connector.
Inspect for poor connection (such as damaged/pulled-out pins, corrosion).

VERIFY DTC TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED

Always reconnect all disconnected connectors.
Clear the DTC from the ECM memory using the Techstream.

Perform the KOEO or KOER self test.
