• If the output voltage of the HO2S continues to be low for the specified time or more even though the estimated temperature of the HO2S element after the engine is started exceeds the specified value, the ECM determines that the HO2S is not activating, and stores a DTC. The malfunction determination time varies depending on the intake air amount.
