DTC U2300-54: Central Configuration Missing Calibration; DTC U2300-55: Central Configuration Not Configured; DTC U2300-56: Central Configuration Invalid / Incompatible (ISO/SAE reserved); DTC U2300-64: Central Configuration Signal plausibility failure [08/2018 - 08/2019]: Procedure

  1. RECORD CAR CONFIGURATION DATA 
    1. Switch the ignition ON (engine off) and wait for 6 s or more.
    2. Switch the ignition off.
    3. Switch the ignition ON (engine off).

      Result

      Proceed to
      NEXT

    Result: 

    NEXT

  2. VERIFY THAT SAME DTC IS NOT PRESENT 
    1. Clear the DTC.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2018 - ]

    2. Recheck for DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2018 - ]

    3. Are the same DTCs present?

      Result

      Proceed to
      Yes
      No

    Result: 

    No

  3. INSPECT FOR COMBINATION METER MALFUNCTION 
    1. Switch the ignition off.
    2. Recheck for DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2015 - 08/2019]

    3. Are any DTCs present?

      Result

      Proceed to
      Yes
      No

    Result: 

    Yes

    No

  4. VERIFY THAT SAME DTC IS NOT OUTPUT AGAIN 
    1. Reconnect the disconnected connectors.
    2. Connect the negative battery cable.

      Refer to INSTALLATION [07/2015 - ]

    3. Clear the DTC.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2018 - ]

    4. Recheck for DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2018 - ]

    5. Is the same DTC displayed?

      Result

      Proceed to
      Yes
      No

    Result: 

    Yes

  5. VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCS ARE PRESENT 
    1. Verify other DTCs displayed.
    2. Are any other DTCs displayed?

      Result

      Proceed to
      Yes
      No

    Result: 

    No 

    DTC TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED 

    Result: 

    Yes 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE THE MALFUNCTIONING PART ACCORDING TO THE APPLICABLE DTC TROUBLESHOOTING 

    1. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [08/2018 - 08/2019]
  6. REPEAT THE INSPECTION FROM STEP 1 
    1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the air conditioning amplifier.
    2. Go to the next step.

      Result

  7. GO TO APPLICABLE DTC INSPECTION 
    1. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [07/2015 - 08/2019]
    2. After repairing the combination meter, perform the combination meter configuration.

      Refer to INSPECTION [07/2015 - ]

    3. Then go to the next step.

      Result

  8. REPEAT THE INSPECTION FROM STEP 1
