DTC P06B8-00: Internal Control Module Non-Volatile Random Access Memory (NVRAM) Error [07/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Perform the initial learning.

   Refer to INITIALIZATION [07/2015 - ]

2. Clear the DTC using the Techstream.

   Refer to ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM DTC INSPECTION [07/2015 - ] 

   Powertrain > Transmission > Clear DTCs 

3. Perform the following procedure to ensure that the DTC has been resolved:
   1. Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).
4. Perform the DTC inspection using the Techstream.

   Refer to ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM DTC INSPECTION [07/2015 - ] 

   Powertrain > Transmission > Trouble Codes 

5. Is the DTC P06B800 also present?

   Result

   Result
   Yes
   No

Result: 

No 

DTC TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED. 

Result: 

Yes

1. Clear the DTC using the Techstream.

   Refer to ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM DTC INSPECTION [07/2015 - ] 

   Powertrain > Transmission > Clear DTCs 

2. Perform the following procedure to ensure that the DTC has been resolved:

GO TO THE APPLICABLE DTC INSPECTION. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [07/2015 - 08/2019]  , or refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [08/2019 - ] 

1. Refer to REMOVAL [07/2015 - ]
2. Then go to the next step.
