DTC DETECTION CONDITION Cold start IAC system performance problem
Determination conditions
  • The difference between the actual engine speed and the target engine speed is 100 rpm or more.
Preconditions
  • Engine speed: 500 rpm or more*
  • Engine coolant temperature: 0-45 °C {32-113 °F}*
  • Catalytic converter estimated temperature: 380 °C {716 °F} or less*
  • Vehicle speed: 0 km/h {0 mph}*
  • The following DTCs are not detected:
    • ECT sensor No. 1 malfunction: P0116-00, P0117-00, P0118-00
    • MAP sensor malfunction: P0069-00, P0107-00, P0108-00
    • BARO sensor malfunction: P2228-00, P2229-00
    • Combination meter malfunction: P2610-00
*: Value can be verified by displaying PIDs using Techstream
