Removal [06/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [06/2016 - 03/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [03/2017 - ]

  3. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [06/2016 - 03/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [03/2017 - ]

  4. REMOVE CONTROL UNIT RELAY ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE ECM 
    1. Disconnect the 4 connectors from the ECM.
    2. Remove the 2 nuts and ECM.

      NOTE:

      If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.

  6. REMOVE ECM BRACKET 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the ECM bracket.
