Data Signal Circuit between Navigation Receiver Assembly and Stereo Jack Adapter [11/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the F96 navigation receiver assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the F39 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Front view of wire harness connector
      (to Navigation Receiver Assembly)
      *b Front view of wire harness connector
      (to No. 1 Stereo Jack Adapter Assembly)

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F39-2 (UDO-) - F96-2 (US1-) Always Below 1 Ω
      F39-3 (UDO+) - F96-3 (US1+) Always Below 1 Ω
      F39 -10 (USG1) - F96 -5 (USG1) Always Below 1 Ω
      F39-2 (UDO-) or F96-2 (US1-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F39-3 (UDO+) or F96-3 (US1+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F39 -10 (USG1) or F96 -5 (USG1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK
