Sound Signal Circuit between Navigation Receiver Assembly and Stereo Component Amplifier [12/2018 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the F93 navigation receiver assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the F117 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F93-1 (FR+) - F117-5 (R+) Always Below 1 Ω
      F93-5 (FR-) - F117-4 (R-) Always Below 1 Ω
      F93-2 (FL+) - F117-3 (L+) Always Below 1 Ω
      F93-6 (FL-) - F117-2 (L-) Always Below 1 Ω
      F93-1 (FR+) or F117-5 (R+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F93-5 (FR-) or F117-4 (R-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F93-2 (FL+) or F117-3 (L+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F93-6 (FL-) or F117-2 (L-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F117-6 (SLD) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK
